About Our Firm
Since 1944
The firm’s offices have been located on South Rock Island Avenue in El Reno since 1944 when they were in the second floor of the Investors Savings and Loan Building at 113 South Rock Island. Since 1961 the firm has operated out of the first floor suite at 115 South Rock Island. The majority of the firm’s practice is in Canadian, Caddo, Blaine, Kingfisher, Grady and Oklahoma County District Courts. Roger is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Roger Rinehart

Born in El Reno, Oklahoma, March 21, 1961.

Education: Oklahoma State University (B.A. 1983), University of Tulsa College of Law (J.D., 1987).
Experience: Appellate Law Clerk, U.S. Department of Labor Benefits Review Board, Washington, D.C., 1987-1989. El Reno City Attorney 2001-2022. Yukon City Attorney 2021 to present.
Professional Involvement: Member, Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners, 2012-present (Associate Bar Examiner 1997 to 2012 and Chairman, 2018 and 2025); Advisory Board Member MidFirst Bank. Graduate, Leadership Canadian County and Leadership Oklahoma (Class XXI); Member: Canadian County (President, 1995), Oklahoma, and American Bar Associations. Chairman El Reno Municipal Planning Commission (1997-2003).
Roger and his wife Anna live in El Reno where they are involved with community events and are long time members of First Christian Church. Their two sons Christian and Nicholas are both licensed attorneys. Christian lives in Oklahoma City and serves as General Counsel to the Oklahoma Municipal League. Nicholas lives in Dallas, Texas where he is a debt finance associate in the office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Admitted to bar, 1956, Oklahoma, 1960, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma; 1963, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit.
Education: University of Oklahoma; University of Tulsa (L.L.B., 1956).
Recipient: Oklahoma Bar Association Sixty Year Certificate, 2016, Oklahoma Bar Association Distinguished Service Award, 1992, The Law & You Foundation Community Interest Award, 1993. Chairman, Lawyers Helping Lawyers Committee 1990-1993.
Member: Canadian County (President, 1963) Oklahoma, and American Bar Associations.
Jessica Sumrall
Paralegal
Jessica Sumrall is a dedicated Paralegal with a background in family law, probate, and estate planning and came to the firm in 2025. With over 22 years of experience providing comprehensive support to attorneys, legal research, document preparation, and case management, she ensures that each matter is handled efficiently and moves smoothly from intake to resolution.
Through her strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Jessica works closely with attorneys to research and prepare legal documents, coordinate case details and deadlines, and manage complex matters. Additionally, she is committed to helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence and understanding.
Away from the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and a variety of hobbies, including reading, landscaping, interior decorating, traveling, and a photography business that she established in 2012. Born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma, she now lives in Okarche with her husband, Josh. They have two sons, Kobie and Court, bonus daughter Karen, and fur-kids, Hunter the cat and Ziva the rottweiler.
Denise Sweeney
Legal Assistant
Denise Sweeney is an experienced Estate Planning Legal Assistant who provides essential administrative and client support to ensure the smooth operation of the firm’s estate planning practice. With a strong background in office management, she plays a key role in coordinating client communications, organizing case files, and assisting with the preparation of wills, trusts, and related estate documents.
Since her arrival at the firm in 2020, she has become known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and discretion, Denise helps clients feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. She manages scheduling and document execution, ensuring that every client matter processes efficiently and accurately.
Denise resides in Union City with her husband, Bill, and enjoys spending time with their daughters Brooke and Bonnie and their husbands Zach and Preston, respectively. Denise also has two grandchildren, Sage and Milo, who are her blessings full of mischief, love, and laughter.
